Calcium

Calcium

Pay particular attention to your bones in Fall by including enough calcium-rich foods and beverages. Shorter days and weaker sun mean less time for body to make vitamin D, which helps the body absorb calcium. Milk, yogurt, and cheese are rich sources of this important mineral. Other foods with calcium include tofu, frozen meals made with cheese, calcium-fortified juices, and fish such as sardines and salmon that are canned with bones.
