Calcium

Calcium

Pay particular attention to your bones in Fall by including enough calcium-rich foods and beverages. Shorter days and weaker sun mean less time for body to make vitamin D, which helps the body absorb calcium. Milk, yogurt, and cheese are rich sources of this important mineral. Other foods with calcium include tofu, frozen meals made with cheese, calcium-fortified juices, and fish such as sardines and salmon that are canned with bones.
Freezer basics

Remember your freezer when stocking your kitchen with meal and snack fixings. Frozen vegetable combinations can be added to soups, cooked with rice, or served as a side dish. An assortment of healthy frozen entrées and snacks help you stick to your eating plan when there's little time to cook. Bread lasts longer frozen than refrigerated or at room temperature. Berries and fruits frozen in bags are the perfect foundation for smoothies and fruit sauces.

Ways to burn yor calories.

Walk…Park your car a few blocks apart from the place you are going to and take to brisk walk to your office, grocery store, or a shopping mall. Intend to walk at least 30 minutes every day. Try to walk after a meal. The food would get digested faster. Housework too burns a lot of calories as you put some physical strain to your body.

2. Walk around the office…If you are in the office, get out of your cabin and meet some colleagues from a different department instead of messaging or phoning them. If you need to go to a washroom, choose the one located on the top floor and walk there.

3. Choose the stairs…Use the stairs as much as possible. Whether it is your flat, a mall or an office building. Take the stairs. When you walk up or down the stairs, it burns a few hundred calories. So, shun the elevator for a fitter body!

4. Forget about the remote…Most of us are used to using a remote while watching television. But, not using a remote control is also a way of burning calories. So, next time you watch television, do not use a remote control. Instead change the channel every time by getting up and doing it manually.

5. Chew…Chewing too is a great way of burning calories. The more you chew the more calories you burn. This happens because when you are chewing, you give work to your muscles.

6. Have hot organic drinks…Several times during the day, drink green tea or organic coffee. But, you should avoid the sugar. Do not add sugar to the drinks as it boosts metabolism.

7. Eat more often…Eating frequent small meals, especially if they are not loaded with sugar or white flour, is more stimulating for your metabolism than stuffing yourself with big meals two or three times a day.

8. Choose spicy…Choose spicy dishes as they are another way to burn more calories during the day. And they will also make you drink more water, which is great for your weight loss and your health in general!

9. Keep moving at all times…Adopt a habit of moving your feet, stretching your legs, or squeezing a rubber ball while sitting. Can you believe that such simple movements can burn up to 500 calories a day?

10. Keep the temperature low…In the winter, turn down the heat in your room, especially at night, and sleep under a lighter blanket. In the summer, turn on an air conditioning. A colder environment makes your body produce more heat and, therefore, facilitates the utilization of calories.
